Santa's Castle History

Since 1994, Santa's Castle has provided Christmas to the children of Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, activated National Gaurd and Researve families (E-5 and below) experiencing finacial difficulty throughout the Northwest. Last year Santa's Castle provided gifts to approximately 1,650 children from nearly 700 families.
This would not be possible without the wonderful volunteers or the generosity of those who have donated funds or toys in support of this organization -- all of whom are dedicated to making sure the children of our military heroes receive a Christmas.
Last year’s largest donors included: America’s Credit Union, KGY Radio & Intercity Transit, KMPS Radio, TriWest Healthcare, Hawks Prairie Rotary, Military Officers Association of America Olympia Area Chapter, Operation Iraq.org, Seafarers Int’l Union, Mid-Mountain Contractors, Lake Washington American Legion Post 124, American Legion Post #1, Toys for Tots, Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce, American Logistics Association, Lakewood Republican Women, and Revision Eyewear.

Santa’s Castle is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is run completely by volunteers.
Santa’s Castle is funded entirely from charitable donations.
Santa’s Castle supports Active Duty Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, activated National Guard and Reserve families (E-5 and below) throughout the Northwest, who are experiencing financial difficulty.
Last year Santa’s Castle provided gifts to more than 1,650 children from 700 families. Gifts were valued at approximately $99,200.
Santa’s Castle accepts referrals from military unit chains of command (1SG & above)
Santa’s Castle is part of the Combined Federal Campaign. Please consider giving to CFC #85991.

Santa's Castle accepts donations year round and is always in need of toy or monetary donations.
Santa's Castle accepts donations from individuals, groups, military units, small businesses, civic organizations, and corporations.

Items in short supply: Board Games, Teen Items, Toddler Items, Skateboards, scooters, books for all ages.

Referrals are based on financial need. (i.e.: “no pay due” during Sept - Dec., the need for an AER loan or grant or the death or illness of an immediate family member, etc.)
Military members (E-5 & below) experiencing financial crisis, with children 18 years or younger residing in the home, are eligible for the Santa’s Castle program.
NO SELF-REFERRALS. The referral form must be completed by the unit chain of command (1SG or above) or unit Chaplain.
Referral forms must be filled out completely and accurately.
Referral form must be completed & SIGNED by the military member’s chain of command (1SG or above) or their unit Chaplain who made the referral.
Referral Deadline is: Friday, November 5, 2010,(Late referrals will NOT be eligible for the 2010 Holiday Season).
